Based in Brunnen in the canton of Schwyz, ecovolta AG develops and manufactures battery systems for vehicles, machinery, and professional mobile power supply solutions. The company focuses not only on batteries but on complete energy systems—ranging from portable 230-V solutions and mobile 400-V power supplies to traction batteries and complete electric powertrains.

A key feature of ecovolta’s solutions is the combination of high performance, compact design, and system integration. Development, battery management, power electronics, testing, and series production are closely interlinked.

ECOPOWERTROLLEY – MOBILE 400-V POWER SUPPLY

The ecoPowerTrolley is a mobile power source for applications where standard power stations are insufficient. It provides both 400 V three-phase current and 230 V alternating current, making it suitable for professional machinery and equipment as well.

With a gross capacity of 8.9 kWh, a continuous output of approximately 11 kW, and a peak output of up to 13 kW, it offers sufficient power for construction sites, workshops, service calls, or events. At the same time, the system remains relatively portable, weighing about 80 kg.

The major advantage lies in the combination of 400 V, multiple connections, and easy portability. Different devices can be connected directly and operated simultaneously.

The ecoPowerTrolley operates entirely on electricity. This means there are no local exhaust emissions and no engine noise. This makes it particularly suitable for indoor spaces, residential areas, events, and applications where traditional generators would be disruptive.

ECOPOWERSTATION PRO³ – FOR HIGH POWER AND DEMANDING LOADS

The ecoPowerStation PRO³ is designed for applications with higher power requirements. It combines approximately 15 kWh of capacity with 11 kW of continuous power and a significantly higher short-term power output.

This is particularly important for machines with high inrush currents. Compressors, power tools, or other motors often require significantly more power at startup than during normal operation. This is exactly where high peak power can be crucial.

The PRO³ offers both 230 V and 400 V and can be used in parallel for larger applications. This allows you to expand the available power without having to switch to a completely different system.

It also features comprehensive monitoring and protection functions for the battery and electrical outputs.

ECOPOWERBANK – HIGH POWER WITH LOW WEIGHT

The ecoPowerBank is designed for applications where mobility is particularly important. Weighing about 24 kg and with a capacity of approximately 2.3 kWh, it is significantly easier to transport than larger systems.

Despite its compact dimensions, it delivers a continuous power output of about 3.6 kW and a very high short-term peak power output. This allows it to power devices that require a large amount of current for a brief period when they are turned on.

This positions the ecoPowerBank between traditional portable power stations and significantly heavier professional battery systems.

EVOTRACTIONBATTERY – SCALABLE BATTERY FOR VEHICLES AND MACHINERY

With the evoTractionBattery, ecovolta offers a standardized battery platform for electric vehicles and machinery.

The systems are available in various capacities and can be combined in series or in parallel. This allows different voltages, capacities, and power requirements to be met using the same basic platform.

This is particularly appealing to machinery and vehicle manufacturers. Instead of having to develop a completely new battery for each new vehicle, an existing platform can be adapted to the specific application.

Another advantage is the high degree of integration. Functions such as battery management, charging communication, monitoring, and other control tasks are already built into the system.

This reduces the need for additional electronics and interfaces in the vehicle.

SAFETY AS PART OF THE SYSTEM

For professional battery systems, high capacity alone is not enough. What matters most is how reliably the system can be monitored and shut down.

The evoTractionBattery therefore features comprehensive battery management and multiple levels of protection. These include, among other things, overcurrent monitoring, cell protection, and electrical shutdown functions.

This safety architecture is particularly relevant for applications in commercial vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery, or specialty vehicles, as batteries in these applications can be exposed to high mechanical and electrical stresses.

This makes the evoTractionKit particularly well-suited for specialty vehicles, work machines, commercial vehicles, boats, and other applications where developing a complete drive system from scratch would not make much economic sense.

WHAT MAKES ECOVOLTA SPECIAL

EcoVolta’s strength lies primarily in its ability to address a wide range of requirements through a shared technical expertise.

The spectrum ranges from portable power supplies to mobile 400-V systems to batteries for complete electric work machines.

A customer can therefore either use a ready-made product or work with ecovolta to develop a custom system. The battery, electronics, control unit, and drive are not considered in isolation, but rather as parts of an integrated system.

For professional applications, this is often the decisive factor: high performance, flexible integration, and minimal effort during implementation.
