The system is ideally suited as a standalone emergency power supply (UPS) or as a permanent energy source for critical applications in industry, research, telecommunications, or defense. Thanks to its modular architecture, the UPSystem 3K combines a 3 kW fuel cell generator, an integrated battery, and an intelligent safety and monitoring system (UP Safe & IoT) into a fully integrated energy solution.

UPS stands for Uninterruptible Power Supply – in English Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS. A UPS ensures that electrical devices continue to function without interruption even during a power outage or voltage drop.
For the PowerUP UPSystem 3K, this means: If the mains power fails or fluctuates, the built-in battery automatically takes over the power supply within milliseconds. At the same time, the hydrogen fuel cell generator can start to ensure continuous energy supply – without downtime, without rebooting, without data loss.
