The ecoPowerTrolley combines the mobility of a battery storage system with a power class designed for professional applications. 8.9 kWh gross energy. 11 kW continuous power. Up to 13 kW maximum discharge power. 230 V and 400 V three-phase current. If even more power is needed, the specified parallel operation allows for up to 26 kW. This makes the ecoPowerTrolley a mobile alternative for applications where generators or long power cables were previously often necessary.
The consumer does not have to come to the power. The power comes to the consumer. Whether on construction sites, craftsmanship, event technology, film, or rescue operations: The ecoPowerTrolley delivers powerful household and three-phase power directly to where work is being done. Do you want to know if the ecoPowerTrolley is suitable for your application?Decisive factors include the required continuous power, possible inrush currents, daily operating time, and the desired autonomy. Based on this, it can be assessed which runtime is achievable and whether a single ecoPowerTrolley or a parallel operation solution is sensible.

Electricity is not only needed where a power outlet is available. Especially on construction sites, at events, in trades, during film productions, or in emergency operations, electrical energy often needs to be delivered precisely where it is required on short notice. The ecoPowerTrolley has been developed for exactly this task. The mobile battery storage provides both 400 V three-phase current and 230 V household current and combines a gross capacity of 8.9 kWh with up to 13 kW discharge power. With its built-in wheels, the system can be easily moved to the job site and used there without combustion engines, fuel, or complex power cabling.
Charge energy. Drive to the job site. Connect. Work.
No engine noise, no local emissions, and no fuel transport. Instead, powerful 230- and 400-V power exactly where it is needed.
Many mobile battery storage systems only provide 230 V. However, for professional applications, this is often insufficient. Machines, pumps, tools, and numerous devices in the construction and industrial sectors require 400 V three-phase current. This is where one of the central strengths of the ecoPowerTrolley comes into play. Through the CEE16 connection, it supplies 3/N/PE AC 400 V at 50 Hz. Additionally, three 230-V connections are available. This allows both conventional household and craft devices as well as more powerful three-phase consumers to be supplied. Three-phase current no longer needs to be necessarily fed through long cable routes to the workplace. The energy is brought directly to the consumer.
8.9 kWh energy for mobile use
Inside the ecoPowerTrolley, a lithium-ion battery with NMC cell technology operates. The gross capacity is 8.9 kWh, of which approximately 8 kWh net capacity is available according to the datasheet. This allows applications with higher energy demands to be operated over longer periods. According to product specifications, consumers with a total output of over 1,000 W can be supplied for more than seven hours. The actual operating duration, of course, depends on the connected power and usage conditions. The ecoPowerTrolley is therefore designed not only for short service calls but can also be used as a standalone mobile power source for several hours.
Up to 13 kW output
In professional applications, not only the stored energy amount counts. The output that can actually be delivered to machines and devices is equally important. The ecoPowerTrolley provides 11 kW continuous discharge power and achieves a maximum discharge power of 13 kW for short loads. When the system is operated in the intended parallel mode, up to 26 kW discharge power is even possible according to specifications. This clearly differentiates the ecoPowerTrolley from simple mobile power stations. It has been developed for professional consumers, where high performance and three-phase supply are genuinely required.
A professional worksite rarely consists of a single consumer. While a larger machine operates at 400 V, chargers, lighting, computers, measuring devices, or power tools still require 230 V. The ecoPowerTrolley therefore provides both voltage worlds. A CEE16 connection is available for 400-V consumers. For 230-V consumers, three connections are provided. Depending on the country version, different plug types may be used. This single mobile energy system can power various consumers at the same worksite.
An alternative to the traditional generator
Mobile three-phase power often traditionally means a combustion generator. This needs to be refueled, requires lubricants, produces engine noise, and emits local exhaust during operation. The ecoPowerTrolley works differently. The energy is stored electrically beforehand and then provided at the worksite as 230 or 400 V alternating current via the integrated power electronics. Thus, the system does not require fossil fuels or lubricants for operation. This makes the ecoPowerTrolley particularly interesting for applications where traditional generators pose disadvantages due to noise, emissions, or the necessary fuel management.
Especially on construction sites, at events, or during film productions, the noise from a generator can be significantly disruptive. Additionally, when operating in residential areas, buildings, or other sensitive environments, a running combustion engine is often unwelcome. The ecoPowerTrolley generates its electrical energy not on-site, but rather discharges previously stored energy. This eliminates engine noise from a combustion generator. This not only improves the work environment but also provides power in locations where noise is a critical factor.
No local exhaust emissions at the site
Where no fuel is burned, there are also no local combustion emissions. This difference is particularly relevant in protected or sensitive working areas. The ecoPowerTrolley can supply electrical consumers without requiring a gasoline or diesel engine to be operated on-site for power generation. This not only reduces odor and exhaust pollution but also simplifies handling: No fuel canisters, no refueling, and no lubricants for generator operation.
A mobile energy storage system is only practical if it can be quickly recharged after use. The ecoPowerTrolley can be charged in various ways. At a standard 230-V socket, the standard charging time is approximately five hours to reach about 90% charge, according to the data sheet. Via a 400-V CEE16 connection, a fast charge can be achieved in about two hours. The maximum charging power is 4.4 kW. This allows the storage system to be recharged with a substantial amount of energy, for example, during a break or between two uses.
Charging via 230 V, 400 V, or photovoltaic
Flexibility doesn’t stop at the output side. The ecoPowerTrolley also offers several options for charging. In addition to 230 V and 400 V, the product specifications also include a PV micro-inverter as a charging option. This enables the battery storage to be combined with a suitable photovoltaic solution. Particularly during longer operations without a consistently available power grid, this can provide additional independence. Solar power can be generated during the day, stored in the battery, and subsequently used for tools, machines, or other consumers.
Store energy instead of laying cables
At temporary work sites, there is often considerable effort just for power supply. Long cable runs need to be laid, secured, and then removed afterwards. In three-phase applications, this effort increases even more. With the ecoPowerTrolley, part of this infrastructure can be eliminated. Instead of leading electricity over long distances to the consumer, the stored energy is brought directly to the work area. This is especially interesting for short-term operations, where a comprehensive electrical installation hardly pays off for just a few hours of work.
Mobile technology must endure more than a stationary device in a technical room. The ecoPowerTrolley has a protection grade of IP65, making it resistant to dust and water jets according to the datasheet. The housing is made from aluminum and plastic. The system is designed for discharging at temperatures between -10 °C and +45 °C. It can be charged in the range of 0 °C to +40 °C. With a total weight of approximately 80 kg, the system is not considered carry-on luggage. However, the trolley design allows it to be moved on wheels directly to the workplace.
Safety is an integral part of the system
High power, lithium-ion batteries, and 400-V three-phase current necessitate a rigorous safety concept. The ecoPowerTrolley features an integrated battery management system at SIL2 level. The disclosed safety functions include among others all-pole disconnection, over- and under-temperature cut-off, over- and under-voltage cut-off, redundant overcurrent cut-off, a patented overcurrent protection at the battery cell level, and isolation monitoring. Additionally, the power electronics include short circuit protection and an electronic fuse. Safety is achieved not just through a single component but through multiple monitoring and protection levels within the whole system.
Operation via touchscreen
With a mobile battery system, the user should always know how much energy is still available and what performance is currently being delivered.
Therefore, the ecoPowerTrolley is equipped with a TFT touchscreen display. This screen can show information including state of charge, operational mode, output power, charging power, operating time, and remaining charging time.
Warnings and error states are also displayed. These may include over- and under-temperature, overload, undervoltage, or isolation faults. This provides the user not only with power but also transparency regarding the current status of the energy system.
Passive cooling
The ecoPowerTrolley operates according to product specifications with passive cooling. This means that no traditional active fan system is employed as a fundamental principle for cooling. Particularly in a mobile energy system, a simple thermal structure can offer advantages regarding noise production and maintenance effort. The specified efficiency of the power electronics is over 95% at nominal power.
For construction sites
At construction sites, power is often needed far from the nearest suitable power connection. The ecoPowerTrolley brings 230 V and 400 V directly to the workplace. This allows tools and machines to be powered without having to lay long three-phase cables for each temporary use. Especially for changing work areas, expansion work, or short-term deployments, this can significantly simplify power supply.
For craftsmanship and assembly
During assembly and service work, one does not always know what power supply is available on-site. With the ecoPowerTrolley, the required energy simply travels along. Machines, tools, chargers, and other consumers can be supplied directly on-site. Particularly interesting is the combination of high power and different output voltages. One system fulfills tasks for which multiple power supplies would otherwise be needed.
For events and event technology
At events, noise is often as problematic as the lack of power. A conventional generator often has to be set up far from the actual event area. Subsequently, long power cables are required. The ecoPowerTrolley can be positioned closer to the actual consumer and operates without engine noise or local exhaust fumes. This makes it particularly suitable for temporary installations, technology areas, and other applications where quiet power supply is essential.
For film and production
Film productions often require energy exactly where noise should be minimized.
A running generator can disturb audio recordings and often needs to be placed at a significant distance. A battery storage system offers a fundamental advantage here: energy is provided without an operating combustion engine. The ecoPowerTrolley is explicitly listed in the product description as a solution for film and professional mobile applications.
For protection and rescue
In rescue and protection operations, having a quickly available independent power supply can be crucial. The ecoPowerTrolley can be brought as a mobile energy storage unit to temporary sites and supply both 230 V and 400 V consumers. Especially where no reliable grid infrastructure is in place, a fully charged battery can immediately provide electrical energy. Protection and rescue are explicitly mentioned as intended areas of application in the product datasheet.

When considering a mobile energy system, the purchase price is not the only factor. A traditional generator requires fuel, lubricants, and regular maintenance throughout its lifespan. Additionally, there are costs for transport, storage, and refueling. The ecoPowerTrolley charges energy electrically. Therefore, the product documentation particularly highlights the lower ongoing expenses and the resulting benefits in lifecycle costs compared to weaker conventional generators. The economic advantage in a specific application naturally depends on usage duration, electricity prices, fuel costs, and load profiles.
Sustainability through electric energy
The ecoPowerTrolley does not automatically replace every type of generator. However, where its power and capacity fit the application, stored electric energy can be an interesting alternative to the local combustion of fossil fuels. This becomes especially appealing when the battery storage is charged with renewable electricity. For instance, solar power can be stored first and then used later at a different location for professional consumers. Energy production and energy consumption no longer need to occur simultaneously or in the same place.
